About Kennedy Homebuilding

Adam Kennedy is the owner of Kennedy Homebuilding. He brings a wide spectrum of experience to the table. It all started off in 1984 working as an apprentice. The basics of the building trade were taught to him by a couple of old master craftsmen that ran a successful renovation company in Northwestern Connecticut. Adam helped restore 200-plus year old homes, learned the right way to build and developed a passion for the trade over the next four years.

While attending the University of Toronto he picked up work at an interesting cooperative of creative woodworkers and gained cabinet shop experience. Moving to Colorado in 1993, Adam spent three years working on high-end projects where he helped build and install around the United States. He learned the finer points of milling and installing wood flooring and what a 64th of an inch looked like (very fine hair). He moved on to work with local Southern Colorado contractors where he learned stone work.

In 2005 after the birth of his daughter, Adam formed “Kennedy Homebuilding." A small company that takes pride in our workmanship. Kennedy Homebuilding provides the same quality service to all of our customers. Whether they're installing a new entry door on a recently purchased home, or tackling a large project on a multi-million dollar ranch property, they strive to deliver on your dreams, communicate clearly, stay on schedule and within the budget.

Kennedy Homebuilding branched out with the acquisition of their own machinery to provide landscaping and property maintenance services as well. They also have a trusted network of subcontractors that help them stay on schedule and create the “magic." As they like to say, “It’s not always about what you know, but who you know."
